Reportase Princess (Barbie) Class 29 January 2012

Kelas di tahun 2012 diawali dengan Princess Cake Decorating.

Peserta belajar dari mulai cara bagaimana membuat rok yang proporsional,

meng-carving (membentuk) rok dengan pisau,

membuat ganache untuk cake dengan dekorasi fondant dan memoles ganache pada kue.

Selanjutnya adalah bagian inti yaitu menghias dengan menggunakan fondant.

Peserta mempelajari bagaimana tip dan trick menutup kue untuk membuat gaun dan membuat hiasan,

termasuk pula diantaranya membuat rimple.

Resep butter cream menggunakan resep Wilton:

Bahan:

190 gr mentega putih (solid white vegetable shortening)

450 gr gula halus (confectioners's sugar)

40 ml air atau susu

1 sdt vanila flavour

10 gr (1 tbsp) meringue powder

Cara:

Mixer mentega putih sampai lembut, lalu masukkan gula halus, meringue poeder, air, flavour.

Kemudian mixer lagi sampai diperoleh adonan yang sesuai.

Untuk menghasilkan butter cream yg lebih cair (tidak kaku),

tambahkan air sedikit demi sedikit mulai dari 15 ml /1 sdt.

First time I thought there was only one Ultraman in the superhero universe.

But when I browsed Ultraman in the search engine..I found many Ultraman characters with their Japanese names.

I wonder how kids, especially boys can identify them one by one.

Ultraman Tiga is one of the most familiar character in the Ultraman Family.

This cake I made from two half-ball shaped cake with diameter 15 cm and a round cake with 8 cm height. Overall height of Ultraman head was approximately 19 cm.
